Comments on: Review of Plenio VXA-2100 GPS

I never ceased to be amazed with Hi-tech gadgets. I am a little surprised because living in Eastern North Carolina leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to consistent signal coverage for anything that communicates. As for MSN Direct’s traffic update, it is not available in Wilmington and Jacksonville, I am curious to see what the traffic services are in and around Chapel Hill next week.
So far my Garmin 780 has been, without exception, dead on accurate. MSN Direct services aside I am tickled pink with my Garmin 780. Now I can go where I want to go comfortably and confidently.

Beautifully done and seems to work perfectly so far. It is fast and easily programmed. I keep finding new features that I did not know it had. The screem is bright and easy to read. This is my third GPS unit and it shows the progress in technology. The price was excellent for the quality of this product. It does everything I wanted except “lane selection mode” (or whatever they call it) but to get that feature the price goes way up. I recommend this product — so far, so good.

Does anyone have a manual they can scan over to me? I have this GPS system and I lost the manual the last time I put it away. The manufacturer doesn’t have a website. I am leaving tomorrow and took it out of the box today and noticed no manual! Yikes!!!

Defective product.
After a period of use and turned off, the unit will turn on with Blue LED but the screen will be blank and unusable. The unit will only be functional after being disconnected from the power source and cooled off for at least 30 minutes. Have asked return it to the DVS company.

I love it!!
This GPS is amazing and a steal at the price I got it. It’s got a large enough screen that I don’t have to squint and it’s so easy to use. I’m so glad I got this.

Nice GPS for entry level
This is my first GPS and I found it to be worth money spent. It has video, audio, games, aux support other than the main Navigation feature. Screen size is awesome. I loved it but the POI is not too exhaustive.

Better than expected.
I bought this for my wife and wish I would have bought 2 so I could have one too. She got me a diffent brand and it talks too much and is slow to reroute the Plenio does it instantly. Great GPS device for under $100 with a 7 in. screen can’t beat it!
